Press Release:
Growvera Selected as Finalist for PG&E’s 2025 Pitch Fest

Albuquerque, New Mexico — September 18, 2025Growvera, a biotechnology company focused on wildfire resilience and grid reliability, is proud to announce its selection as a finalist for Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) 2025 Pitch Fest, taking place September 23–25 at PG&E’s Oakland headquarters.

Chosen from a competitive pool of more than 400 applicants, Growvera will join 56 other energy and climate tech innovators in presenting breakthrough solutions aimed at addressing California’s most pressing energy and climate challenges — including wildfire resilience, grid modernization, electrification, and more.

“We’re honored to be part of PG&E’s Pitch Fest and excited to share our work on DRYLINE, our real-time fuel moisture sensor network for PSPS automation,” said Brian Henderson, CEO, Growvera. “This opportunity allows us to collaborate with industry leaders and accelerate the impact of our technology across California’s energy landscape.”

Growvera will present in the Wildfire Resilience track, showcasing its DRYLINE solution designed to deliver live, site-specific fuel moisture telemetry. By providing utilities with real-time ground-truth measurements of fuels, DRYLINE empowers more targeted and defensible Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) decisions, helping to both prevent catastrophic wildfires and minimize unnecessary outages.

“Pitch Fest is one of the most impactful ways we connect with the energy and climate tech ecosystem,” said Mike Delaney, Vice President, Utility Partnerships and Innovation, PG&E. “We’re excited to accelerate solutions that can make our grid safer, more sustainable, and more affordable — and we’re energized by the creativity and commitment of this year’s presenters.”

PG&E’s Pitch Fest is a cornerstone of its innovation strategy, offering up to $25 million in funding to support the development and integration of promising technologies. Finalists will have the opportunity to co-develop projects with PG&E, moving quickly from concept to real-world deployment.
